Following discussions between Upwood Small to Tall (USTT) and Upwood Primary Academy (UPA) we are very pleased to announce that, from Monday 2nd November 2020, Breakfast and After School Clubs will return to the management of Upwood Small to Tall.
We are not yet able to return to full capacity or to full opening hours, but both have been extended as part of our phased return.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, measures remain in place to maintain year group bubbles and keep both staff and children safe. Staff working in breakfast and after school clubs will not be working in the USTT building with the pre-school children. This will limit the risk of infection between the different groups as requested in the Government guidance.
With this in mind, USTT will manage and staff the running of these clubs within UPA (Dining room/hall). Breakfast Club will run from 8.00am to 9.00am (maximum 20 places). Unfortunately, we are unable to offer breakfast to children so would ask that they eat at home first. Please ensure your child brings in a named filled water bottle.
After School Club will run from 3.30pm - 5.30pm prompt (maximum 20 places). Similarly we are unable to offer snacks so would ask that children bring a named water bottle and healthy snack if they will be staying for the whole session.
If you wish to apply for a space, please complete and return the attached Booking Form. Places will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis with Key Workers taking priority (see attached list).
